Default How Do I Fix My Left Headlight

My left headlight (in the pic is super foggy).. and im guessing it makes it less bright than the other one. can this be the problem? if not then suggest me something..

Its something outside the glass and im guessing condensation happens inside the glass

I had a little oxidation on mine and heres what I did...

2000 grit wet sanding
Some plastic polish with a DA sander/polisher

Worked great!!

there is a kit at walmart in the automotive section that will fix that, i used it on mine and they look new again and its only like $20.00

Thanks but it sounds pretty time consuming .. so i'll go with the kit .. if that doesnt work then i know what to try...

Keep in mind that the plastic headlight housing has a UV protectant on it from the factory. More than likely this protectant is damaged and this is why the headlight has discolored. Once you polish the plastic, I would make sure that I put a coat of a good wax on the plastic. Polishing the plastic will remove whatever UV protectant is still there, so you will want to seal the plastic somehow. If you don't have any plastic sealant, then just keep it waxed. Keep in mind that you will have to periodically polish it from here on out.
