Default High Beam Headlight Issue

So basically when I turn my high beams on, only the passenger side works.

I know we only have one projector and it works with the shutter system or whatever, so does that mean I need a whole new projector? Or is there something else I can try, to troubleshoot?

You should start by taking the projector out and testing them with 12volts to see if either the shutter is stuck or see if the solenoid is the culprit. I'm not to sure if the solenoid is replaceable on the e55 projectors. I have some lying around and can check to see how easily it comes off.

I've been thinking about upgrading my projectors anyway to some from TRS. How much did the ones you bought cost?

The Rx-350 were $280 with the STI-R lenses from a member on hidplanet. The evo-r are also a upgrade from the e55 and are direct replacement

Are they HID? Are the HID and non HID projectors the same?

I haven't had time to do any troubleshooting yet. Here's a short vid of the issue, it may be bigger than I first thought.

Can you shoot a video looking at the front of the car but on an angle to better see whats going on, but not directly so that you dont get lots of light in the camera. That might help out.

Definitely not getting the solenoid firing on the drivers side. Dan is right about getting the other angle view if possible. If your coming towards richmond Sunday hit me up. We can look at it if you want.
