Default HIDs Won't Work After LED Tail Light Install

Alright, so on Tuesday I received and installed my interior LEDs. Dome, map, glove, trunk, courtesy, and foot lights. Everything worked fine at this point. Today, I received my Ezkoncept ruby reds and installed them. Everything on the taillights work perfectly fine. The problem is now my headlights. When I first turned them on, only one turned on. So I switched them off and on again. Now both are out. I've tried disconnecting the battery terminal and checking all the headlight connections. Could it be a fuse? and if so, what would cause the fuse to blow?

Hmm, that is strange. You might be right. Maybe a blown fuse. But I truly do not know. Maybe some other more savy members would chime in.

36A and 45A I believe. I'll check them tomorrow. And even if all the taillight bulbs are working? Just seems weird the headlights would both go out

Check to make sure your break lights work, I installed mine wrong, went to get inspected a day later and found out my break lights didn't work. Make sure the black wires line up correctly with the black wires on connector.

Yeah the breaks worked fine. I messed up and didn't unplug the battery. Guess it blew out the bulbs

Lesson learned

ALWAYS unplug the battery when doing something electrical

i upgraded my HID's to 55w ballasts and its SUPER BRIGHT now.

ALSO be careful not to put 55w ballasts on ur fogs. been known to overheat and burn through.
