Default HID Headlights flickering

Hey guys,I have a problem with my stock hid headlights...both headlights. When i am driving down the road my left and right head starts to flicker, not constantly but enough times to notice. The left always starts to flicker first then it will go out. turning off the headlights then back on brings them back. After the left starts flickering the right headlight begins flickering then it shut off. I would turn the headlights off then back on the headlights will come on. After each headlight go through their flickering routine individually they would both turn off together...I am baffled. Anyone out there have any suggestions or have seen this problem?

The last time something like this came up it was the ballasts. Search it was not that long ago.
