Default Floor Light Under Glovebox

im trying to put led's in the passenger floor (footwell) light and i havent been able to just pull it out, so how do i get to this light??? thank you

Not sure if it's any different but for 2004-06's I know the 6.5 gens you have to twist the housing to unlock it and then push it back thru and around so it is just hanging in the footwell. once it is out the bulb is real easy to remove.

I used a screw driver to catch a tab on the brown housing to twist it.

If that doesn't work, then I don't know.

i just did mine the driver side is easy its just vertically placed in the passenger one is a nightmare it goes in horizontally i used needle nose plyers with electrical taped wrapped around it to get a better grip and i dont think u twist u just pull and or push good luck

not that hard guys. get some rubber gloves. or used the pliers with electrical tape but be gentle.

Reach the light itself from under the dash and reach the plug itself.

As for the bulb, use pliers, gloves, or anything that has enough grip but not enough to pop the bulb
