Default Factory Headlights

Trying to buy factory HID headlight assembly for my 6th gen. But the dealership said they won't fit non HID car. I figured it would be a plug and play. So before I spend this big amount of money can anyone help me.

Had factory with aftermarket HIDs. But the lights were not that bright. So before I spend $1800 on headlights want to make sure they will fit with no cutting and splicing.

Factory 07 hid assemblies are $800 each from the dealership. so I think you're spending a lot.

The housings for your 06 will fit. I'm just not sure on wiring. Hopefully one of the gurus will pop in.

Whoever at the dealership told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. The halogen and HID headlights are directly swappable, I've done the same. And do not spend that much on OEM's, just buy used. Like someone stated, just make sure there are no broken tabs or damage, and make sure it's OEM, not "OEM spec". In the case that the ballasts, bulbs, or projectors are bad, you can easily replace those with OEM components from theretrofitsource.com, and still be greatly under $1800.

Please don't spend that money just search the site for the HID swap/upgrade . I did it on my 6.5 gen headlights ballast, bulbs, and projectors for under $400 .
