Default Downgrading From OEM HID To Halogens

First let me start by saying,i swapped my headlights w/a former member and the r/h oem hid headlight is crap.Baked numerous times due to condensation, replaced hid ballast after it blew out.I am now considering buying halogen lens and doing aftermarket hids since ballast has burned out again.
How do I get the halogens to work with my hid plugs?I want to remove hid ballast and bulb?

I'm guessing that's a pretty rare situation. I bet there's not too many people asking to go from an HID connection to a halogen bulb.

Is it not possible to get new HID bulbs and ballasts to use?

Bulbs r ok,ballast is blown...Main issue is the housing, not trying to pay $500 for one side, can get 2 halogen for under $300

Why would you pay 500 for a new headlight. I paid 550 for both my 08 Headlights in mint condition and HID. 04-06 cant be that much. I see them all over ebay all the time. My advice though, take it out, bake it, reseal it and get a new ballast under 100 bucks and call it a day.

As far as I know the halogen setup is different internally than the hid. But I could be wrong.

U can buy a halogen housing and swat out the internals.. Thats what i did when i did my 07 conversion... If u go that route i have a ballast here thats in perfect working condition that i will let go for a decent price..
