So your dimmer switch is currently lit, or not? If the switch is out, along with other lights, I'd be looking for a blown fuse first. Have you done any mods to the car recently?

Check the 15a fuse #41 in the IPDM. It is located under the hood on the passenger side under the beauty cover. If you replace it and it blows again the fun is just getting started.

If you pull the cover for the fuse panel by your left knee, you'll see a screw inside the panel. Then if you look to the opposite lower corner of the panel, you'll see another screw. Take both screws out, and pull the panel straight back towards you to release it. There is one screw holding the bank of switches to the panel. Unplug all of the switches and remove the screw, and the whole bank of switches will come out. Then you have to take a butter knife or a pry tool and remove the dimmer switch from the plastic "cradle". Once you get in there, you'll see what I'm talking about.

guys...thanks for all your help.. i took it to the dealership and paid $98 for a $3 Relay switch.. its crazy how important that switch is..it controls the dimmers on the panel lights, the radio buttons lighting, the glove box light, the taillights, and the corner turn signal bulbs on the 04-05 lights on the front bumper..

Sorry you had to pay $100 for that, but it's good to know now for future references.

Any way you can post a pic of the part that you had to replace?

Ok guys..I got it fixed but...5 days later it goes out again...so now I'm pissed!!! The dealer said the switch or relay and fuse were blown...if they put a new relay and fuse then y did this all blow again??? I'm gonna look under my hood and try to find the fuse box and change the fuse.. I don't know what the relay looks like or even where it is located...and y would Nissan have a relay that controls all these bulbs, in and outside bulbs...makes no sense!! I'm Pissed!!
