Default Depo Replacement Headlamp Issue

Well I was getting a lot of condensation in my left headlight (I also kinda screwed up the back plastic cap) so I decided before winter I should change it. Well I bought a replacement off of eBay for $130 or whatever it was. I go to install it today only to learn it uses a H9 for the main bulb and my current hid bulb isn't even close to working. This sucks! I'm not sure what to do now as I have the bumper removed. I'm just going to have to run hid/non-hid for a few days till I can get a h9 bulb from ddm.

Does anyone know if DDM ballasts will work with any bulb type?

I don't know about DDM specifically, but usually the connections are the same with all bulb/ballasts (from my experience).

Thanks. I'm really upset I didn't just buy a used oem lamp.

I also just want to put it out there that if you buy these replacement lamps the bulbs from your previous lamp will not work. It also appears that the projector has a clear lens. I'm hoping the new bulb headlight will at least somewhat match

i dont think it will... i would always stick with OEM when it comes to headlight assemblies.

Please. Thank you. I figure I'll just fix my oem one. Use this depo as a spare in the mean time

Yeah, the bulb holder and clip are replaceable. If the wire is making a bad connection, you can cut that connector off and replace it with another one, I believe 9006 and 9012 connectors are interchangeable. And the aftermarket beam is sharper because of the clear lens, I wonder what projector it uses. You don't have your OEM halogen bulbs anymore? I'd rather put the halogen bulb back in than stare at two different lights.

That is what I did. I just bought H9 bulbs from DDM. Haven't gotten them yet though. It should work just fine.

I got the H9 Hid bulb and installed it yesterday. The lights don't really match at all. If you replace both the lights with aftermarket you'll be fine. I'm probably going to sell this aftermarket one and try to fix my oem one.

Oh yea mine fits fine too. It just doesn't look like the Oem one with the 9006 bulb. I'm going to sell this aftermarket one after I fix/replace my Oem one.

Just wanted to let anyone know that aftermarket/Oem don't match. I'd suggest just buying used Oem over this one.
