Default Dent Removal Hair Dryer & Compressed Air

How's it going everyone? I wanted to know if anyone has ever used the technique of using a hair dryer and compressed air to remove dents demonstrated in these videos below:

I have a few small dings here and there on my car so I was thinking about trying this out this weekend to see if it works.

Thanks

I've seen this done with dry ice too.

A heat gun is probably better than a hair dryer. Also notice these are on fairly large dents

They have to be recent dents that are not too close to an edge. I used a heat gun and dry ice in a zip lock baggie to get 90% of some hail damage out on a previous car then took it to the body shop for them to remove the rest.
