Default Custom Interior Help Needed!

Hey guys !
I was planning on switching the interior dash etc. to carbon fiber or something other than this silver i'm not liking it.

It would be a great help if those with custom interiors posted pics !! I would love to see some!!!

ALSO ANOTHER QUESTION:

I plan to upgrade from the bose sound system. I was at best buy and they told me I can get a sub and amp without losing the stock speakers or deck(for now saving up for full sound system !)

I am currently interested in 2 10" infinity subs, or mtx jackhammers. maybe kicker subs.
I would like your feedback and advice on which path to take !
BTW: for those with custom sound systems, does the bass make the trunk or any part of the car rattle? or is it smooth cuz i like smooth and clean bass without all the chevy cavalier rattling if you know what I mean :D

Welcome!!

As far as subs go,out of the ones you listed Id go with the Kickers. You will get rattling, especially on the rear deck. Get some Dynamat and youll be good to go.

Welcome!

Yes it's possible to get an amp and subs with aftermarket speakers and deck. Although I wouldn't buy stuff from best buy. They're so over priced. Check out Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers for good deals. And as far as rattling I have yet to see a subwoofer that doesn't rattle the trunk of our cars . Get dynamite installed properly and your set.

The piece that holds the license plate and reverse lights rattles with a lot of bass. There is a write up somewhere on here on taking it apart and sound deadening it.

FareedMaxima6, if you don't want too much, I'd suggest just getting one 12", maybe with a 3-500W amplifier. That is, if it's strictly for easy listening and you don't need it to be loud outside of the car. For personal enjoyment I was very content with one 12", but for being a jack@ss sometimes I like having two lol.

I get all my stuff off of sonic electronics n when it comes to subs I think one 12 is more than enough, powered with the right amp u gon have ur trunk rattling like crazy n might start war with the neighbors...lol...I thought bout gettin a JL 12w7 but ima go with a kicker L7 instead just because I think JLs are overpriced even tho it's always gon b my fav brand...I replaced all door speakers with kickers n once I get the sub I won't use my 6x9s any longer, just no need for them in my opinion
