Default Clear Courtesy Step Light

Let me first start off by saying I realize this stuff has been covered in the forum on at least 2 previous threads, HOWEVER:

After reseaching I've found where everyone posts about the Altima's (or Armada, Murano) clear door lens is the same (only clear) and I've gone to www.mynissanpartstore.com found the updated part number (26420JA10A instead of 26420-8J000). I'm not going to go test drive an Altima only to swap them out cause I believe in karma.

That is the cheapest I've found...which was $96.56 for all 4 but here's my convern and/or question: ARE THE FRONT AND BACK'S EXACTLY THE SAME? Reason I ask that is because the parts book says "Back" and I can't find one for the "Front" and don't want to be stuck with 2 of them that won't work. Who knows the answer to my question?

Yeah, they are all the same. I got mine in a box and just randomly swapped out the OEM ones. Plus, if you found them for that price, then that's pretty good. The cheapest I found them on my own were $44/Lens

Cool...glad to know I won't be wasting my money. Didn't realize this MOD was going to cost me quite so much or I might have done something else...but LED's were already purchased and red lenses make no sense to begin with. Checked about every salvage place in Louisville, KY to no avail. Apparently people don't wreck in late model cars. LOL

This mod really does look nice...its subtle but looks nice.

I tried the salvage yard to,no luck. The problem is that when a new car like that comes in it gets picked over very quickly.

Take an Altima or Titan for a test drive and swap your red ones for some clears. Its not stealing, its exchanging.

Hahaha. I was just about to recommend that advice bro. That sucks man. I got 6 ( count em ) clear door lenses from a junkyard. Some were dirty, cleaned it up and it sparkles like new. I love my LED door mod. I even sold a whole set so another member who unfortunately wrecked his car and I think he posted them up for sale on here
