Default Can I Swap OEM Ballast For A 55w Ballast?

Can i change stock ballast to a 55w ballast??? or do i have to buy a new whole set???

I think you can change it, but the bulb has to be rated for 55w, otherwise you could have issues.

Not that I'm aware of. There are some OEM ballasts that can be converted to 50W, but not the Matsushita's. You would have to buy aftermarket ballasts. Why do you want higher than 35W?

Many OEM bulbs can handle 55W because they are built with higher quality, but not all projectors can handle the heat of a 55W HID bulb.

This. OEM ballasts last much longer than aftermarket.

Ok thanks wanted to know because there are 35w and 55w kits and I think my 10k bulbs are not as bright so just wandering if I can get them brighter

10000K bulbs are your problem. If you want bright light, then stick with 4300K-5000K, a 35W 4300K will be brighter than a 55W 10000K. Any light that isn't yellow or white will look horrible on the road.

if you get 8k, you get good light and they are blue. 6k is a lighter blue

And that's fine, just don't expect them to be as bright as you want. Plus a true good quality 10k is more purple. As was said 8k, which I had, are super blue and a bit brighter...
