Default Broke Light Socket In Dome Light

Hey, so I am a idiot and I just snapped off Click the image to open in full size. being to rough I guess :-(

Is there anyway to fix this or am I without a dome light?

Yes, you can fix it...are you handy with a soldering iron? As long as you didn't damage the board, it looks like you should be able to solder that back on.

The trim around it will pull straight down...the clips hold it very tightly and it will feel like it is going to break, but it will release if you pull with enough pressure. You can access the circuit board from the back side of the panel. I believe it is held in the panel with a screw or two. Be forewarned, I broke one of the plastic retaining clips and had to replace it.
