Default Anybody In MA/NH To Perform LED Modding?

Title pretty much says it.. I am looking to do a lot of LED modding. Gauges, info screen, climate buttons, radio, window buttons, etc. My plan was to ship to 1hawaii but I would rather meet up with somebody a bit more local and make it a one day thing. Shoot me a pm if you know who, of of you youself can help out a fellow 6th'genner. Thanks

Good work takes time, if I were you I would just send it to hawaii, I've heard nothing but good things about his work, I rather wait a few days for guaranteed quality. Just my two cents bro

That's what I'm thinking.. I've only read great things too. But if somebody local has done this with success, it just makes more sense. That way I can get some help takin out the parts, too. :D

To be honest, I dont think there are very many of us here who will either attempt this or actually do it...

This is a high risk mod and if you dont know what you're doing...you're screwed!

Id send it to Don and just be done with it. He's a good guy who really knows how to get it done...Paging @1hawaii50

Geez.. I think I'm convinced already lol.. getting out the speedo, mirror/tcs/heated steering wheel buttons, and window buttons frighten me. Can get out everything else smooth.. and even with the tutorials I still am nervous of screwing something up..

All simple window buttons pop right out with a flat head, 2 screws and the bottom part under the steering wheel drops down those switch pop right out, the speedo the hardest part is the two screws on the bottom just drop the steering wheel all the way down to get to them

I use to live in mass and as far as I know I'm the only other person who can perform this mod but I would rather step down to let hawaii do it. It takes much more than 1 day to complete an entire car. It takes me a full day just to mod the cluster alone.

Send it to don and if he's charging you less than $400.00 count your blessings. There Much more work involved than just thinking it's a simple soldering some lights on and off.

Getting the needles back on track is another issue.

Inside hint

To place the mph needle back on in the right spot he has to hook your cluster up to his car and drive the car with a gps in hand to tell him how fast he's going, set the cruise control and try to steer the car while carefully placing the needle on how fast he's going.

Hope this helps you to just send the parts out to him for peace of mind

Good luck getting it done. I can't be without all the parts yet to send my stuff to Don but he will be doing mine when I get the funds and parts available.

There is a guy from mass who does it. The video you see on post #9, I believe is from Framingham, but I could be wrong. His name is wolf, but he doesn't come on much anymore. You can try sending him a PM.

Yea I talked to him a while ago. He is no longer willing to do this mod for a price.
