Default 6.5 Gen Rear Bumper Conversion Question

Going to be picking up the 07' rear bumper. Do the mufflers need to be changed or anything have to be altered for it to work? Or will everything just line up perfectly?

If you have stock exhaust then the tips will tuck under a little. Aftermarket exhaust no problem.

Wow thats inspired me to figure out what I want to do with my car, I bought it with a few scratches on the rear end that I have covered with some of the universal black paint and on the front end because of all of those bugs that hit it over the years. I am going to replace the front bumper and rear bumper with the 07 ones and any ideas how to rig the fog lights? Right now I have the cornering lights and I think theyre unique but quite useless lol.

You need to jack up the car and take off the rear wheels. And while you're at it (to make it even easier), take off the front bumper so the back bumper can fit.

Good luck.

Rear bumper will be easy. The front bumper takes quite a bit of modication unless you go with this bumper.

Picking it up off a member on the other org. It's an oem 07 bumper. I like the sportier look and black bottom valence. It will go well and finish off my blackout look. I will take pics after all is said and done

The 04-06 mufflers will look sunken in with 07-08 rear bumper but they will line up the same, left to right. It will just be different front to rear. You'll see.

Have you done the conversion??

No it doesn't take any modification. It will require more things to buy with it to look right but you can basically take off the 04-06 bumper off and install the 07-08 and fit just fine. The headlights will have a gap and the hood. Do it it correctly you need, bumper, headlights, hood and grill.

$200 tops, to paint it top notch. $0 if you install it, which you should with our help if you never done it. It's not that hard and you wont have to spend 500 bucks unless you have that kind of money and want to.

There are different ways you can use to make a point. Saying it in an insult will only result to a bigger problem... Causing things to go out of hand, which will lead to being banned.

If you don't like or agree with something, that's entirely your choice. That doesn't mean you have to put down others that do.

Choose your words wisely, my friend.
