Default Re: Will a 275/30/20 rear fit

I'm running 275/30/20 all around. Offset is the only thing you need to worry about when you pick them up. My wheels are originally +38 offset and I brought them down to +35 to be flush and perfect.

Check the offset first, then worry about tire size.

ok, here are some pics now, the last, i have a shitty camera phone sorry, better piccs will come in my build thread, the rims are Donz Montana 2 piece 20x8.5 et 35 front, 20x10 et 41 rear i believe. Not 100% on the offsets but somewhere in that range. The rims have been wrapped in Nexen N7000 tires. (245/35/20 f, 275/30/20 r) Pics below. I have a black Maxima and live in North Jersey but am in NYC alot. So I am not mounting the rims due to salt etc, ill update come spring but heres pics enjoy. I plan over the winter to get the lips refinished, and have the centers repainted in gloss black to match the car and have the rivets rechromed. Any input or suggestion is always welcome, i dont need comments to bash, keep it clean fellas thanks for all the support and feedback so far.

Look good man. Le me know about the lips of those wheels and what they cost to refinish. I have the donz genovese and i hear the lips for the Donz wheels are a little difficult to repair. I even heard the lips are removable, but i cant confirm that

If they are 2 or 3 piece wheels then yes they will be removable.

Are you sure they are 2 piece? The Montana is in Donz's Pro Series line of wheels (as are the Genovese), which according to their website are all cast 1 piece wheels (and the Forged Series are multi-piece), and judging by the pictures it doesn't look like the face of the wheel is mounted to the barrels using the screws. Not hating or anything, they just don't look like 2 piece wheels, which might make it a little harder to restore.

gotcha, sorry i havent looked at the rims as there staying at a buddys garage because mine is full with 3 sets of oem g35 rims lol but ill take a look i think your right, i think there all one piece but the centers are removable so you could paint / powdercoat. Im taking them to my buddys shop here in north jersey and hes going to get me a quote on the refinish of the barrels. Ill let you know and if they come out well ill see if i could work on a referral to get u a better twice. Ill keep you posted. Im honestly in a tuff spot because i love these rims alot but if im not going to enjoy the driveability, i may sell them after they get refinished to just go with the 18s, but well see i never drove on 20s before.

That's what I thought about my genovese's. Shit a single NeW rim is like 350, I was like damn. I got mine from KCmaxx and love them

LOL, my wheels will be coming off as soon as they say there will be snow in the Northeast, I keep a dedicated winter and summer set up. If you are in the Snow areas, its well worth it

I was looking into a 3 piece version of the Montana's and came across a forsale thread on Maxima.org, which have the exact pictures you are using. If those are indeed the wheels from F50Q45, they are definitely 1 piece cast wheels, and the centers are NOT removable. Look at the back, the centers are connected to the barrels. You can still get everything repaired like you want, but it's not going to be done by taking the wheels apart, and it'll only be worth it if the total cost for the wheels alone is less than $1000.

I am assuming the larger the diameter the more wide your tires should because of a structural thing? Because 275 in the rear and 245 in the front is a Camaro SS 5 gen and thats a 400hp RWD car, even close to a CTS-V, which i went in yesterday, very nice car btw then we got into talking about how the Gt-R 12' is so much better lol, 235-245 seems more seasonable, for weight, price of tires and if you want it flush can't you just add spacers. Lol 2 cents

yea i gotcha, i finally got to look at them again, and they are 1 piece, but the centers are removable to be re powder coated or cleaned. My boy works at a body / rim shop and they said they could do it, im in no rush as these bad boys wont get put on till spring, winters here in nnj/nyc suck so towards spring i might powdercoat the centers black, rechrome the rivets, and fix the lip.
