Default Scraping Sound From Back Driverside Brakes

So i got my winter tires and wheels put on, and they seem to be making a strange sound, which sounds like its coming from the front. Its almost like a slight grinding sound at set intervals based on speed. If i'm going say 40km/h, i can hear it once every second or so, and as i speed up its more frequent all the way up to about 120km/h where its constant.

This only happened once i put the new tires/wheels on, so i'm thinking it must be related to them. I did just find out today when i got my oil change that 2 of the tires weren't installed properly so they have to be swapped. The guy i had who put them on didn't notice they were directional. Would this cause this type of sound? I'm thinking it is more likely a bent rim, or that the wheels just need to be balanced. Looking for some input though so i don't spend a bunch of money trying to fix this if i dont need to.

Take it back to have them installed correctly. Simple as that. And snow tires are going to be louder in general. I grew up in Iowa farm country and snow tires were a must in the winter.

Yeah im having them fixed, but this noise isnt from the fact that they're snow tires. Snow tires are generally just a constant sound, this is not a constant sound, its almost like its happening each time the tire rotates.

If it's like a hissing dragging noise, check that the brake dust cover wasn't accidentally bent and is dragging against the rotor.

If they were mounted wrong that might be the cause. I would take it back where it was installed to see if they will make good on remounting them properly.

So the sound seemed to go away for a little bit, but it is now back even with new tires and rims put on. Now that i can drive all the time with windows open it is making a metal on metal sound from the drivers side rear tire.

When putting the tires on we noticed that side seemed to be more worn down than the other side by quite a bit, and needed to be replaced. All of them were pretty much ready to be done so i just all new rotors and pads put on all the way around, but this sound is still here. It isnt there all the time, mainly when turning, but it seems like that caliper may just not be releasing or something. Any idea what else may be causing this?

When you changed the brakes did you clean and regrease the caliper pins? I always do this to keep it from having issues down the line. Maybe that is the problem?

Sounds like something got bent or whacked out of position and his hitting the rotor/wheel.

Do you just hear it or can you feel it too?

I can only hear it, no feel so far anyway. I might take it back to where I got the brakes done since I said that was the main reason I was getting then done and they said it would fix it
