Default Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season Question

I was wanting to get your opinion on this tire.

Tire Details - Discount Tire

For 700 dollars mounted/balanced would you recommend these? Also looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE970 AS Pole Position but for 918 mounted/balanced i am kind of on the fence.

Opinions please!

Discount tires price is cheaper. 780 total including balance/install. and a 80 dollar mail in rebate. so 700 installed.

I wanted them but they where on backorder threw discount tire. Ended up with yokohama yk580 they are good, very grippy, quiet. Spirited threw snow and ice going down a curvy mountain gripped great. Always pushing these tires threw turns/ corners and I'm always impressed.

Default Re: Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season Question

I just looked these tires up on Consumer Reports.Org and they give them a score of 82 out of 100 which is very good. They are also a Consumer Reports "Recommended" tire.

They show a retail price of between $138.00- $144.22 each. I am sure that is the price for the tire only, not to include mounting and balancing. (and the dreaded "Junk" shop fees.)

There were eleven reviews by consumers. I did not read each review but scanned them and it is a mixed bag averaging 3 stars out of 5.

It sounds like a good deal too me. Just remember to take care of them, have them balanced and rotated at the recommended intervals and always keep them properly inflated.

Our 6th Gen Machines appear to eat tires.

I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger on these. They include free lifetime balancing and rotation with the purchase of tires. Between the new struts and shocks I'm getting installed Tuesday and these new tires My max is gonna feel like a caddy!

Did no one watch the tire rack test? The Pirelli's placed last. They are not good in the wet.

So then why make this thread?

The DWS is a better tire.
If you cant afford them and have found something that work for you then go with it.

Well I had no tire thread at all on my 4 tires and I don't drive to far to many places with my car that much. To me it was a much improvement. But you I think you should go with the Continentals. My friend has continentals on his Mercedes C class.
