Default Performance Tires

Hey guys. So my tires are shot. I had continental dws all season performance tires and absolutely loved them. Now, the tire shop did mention they are amazing tires only rivaled by the F1s, but they wear quick. I got a good 40000 miles out of them.

In terms of new tires, I don't know if I wanna get the contis or try another brand. I want something performance that will be grippy on the road but will last. I dropped a stack on the Contis but people have been all over the place with recommendations. Any ideas or input on what you guys have would be awesome.

Some examples :
Hankook (need model)
F1
Cooper

I am not to happy with the conti DWS. I liked them at first but now that i know my car they dont grip like i want. Gonna go with Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3 next. Look into those.

Default Re: Performance Tires for our 6th Gens

I had the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-2 on these wheels when I originally bought them. They were great! But they're not carried by anyone as a general for sale tire. They're a factory tire. From what I've read they were originally designed for OE for the last model Corvette. They also came stock on the Sky and Solstice. I had to have one replaced once and it had to be ordered from a plant/distributor in Cincinnati and sent down to my store.

Wow. But I believe they still do make a variant of the Eagle f1. They are phenomenal and probably the most expensive tires out of the bunch. I'm gonna look into all of these

Id go for hankook ventus v12 k100's. Great tires. I'm current running 255/45/18 on 18x9 rims. Either go with hankooks or bridgestone potenza re760s. Great bang for your buck

They are what aftermarket wheel shops sell with their wheel packages locally (thats how i heard of them back in the hay). Dont remember having any issues with them except for the inner wear due to camber issues from being dropped. Google nankang as-1 or ns ii and you should find a few online stores.
