Default How's The Ride On 20s Compare To Stock 18s, Great Deal On 20" TSWs

Hows it going, I just bought an 04 se loaded maxima a few weeks ago, I know I gotta get pics, I used to own a 5th gen. Anyways I stumbled upon a great deal for some TSWs just need some input. There 8.5 / 10 x 20, offset unknown which ill try out when i get there, he said 35-40 so Its seems ill be fine. So heres my questions, they dont come with rubber so ill be purchasing tires come spring. I also plan to treat myself to some progress springs. So with the car lowered on 20s whats good tire to run for best performance (size not brand) without rubbing with progress springs, also what can i expierence with running on 20s compared to my stock 18s. I also have 18 stock g35 rims that I am refinishing. Im in between those or buying these rims. Ive never riddin on 20s so please chime in as I have till tm to jump on this price. Pics of rims below, I have a black max so i was thinking of respraying the centers gunmetal or black or maybe rock the chrome but im not a flashy guy and its not a caddy.

Thanks - Danny

20's look better but the 18's is definitely lighter.Probably a better ride on 18's since you will have more meat on the tire...

^^agreed

I also haven't owned 20's but ridden on them on my brother maxima not lowered. It makes a difference. Just depends on you if your ok with it or not. Not sure on tire size but I am sure someone will chime in. The wheels are nice and I can't say you would go wrong painting the venters.

Welcome by the way if I haven't said it already.

I sure do. Ive had over 12 sets of wheels since I bought it 2 years ago.
I've had 18s, 19s and 20s and all while lowered on Progress. You can tell the difference between the 18s and 20s but it was not bad at all. If you can get those for a good price, do. If you end up not liking the ride, sell them and get something else. That's what I do all teh time as mentioned.

I like the rims and for the price its what is wanting me to get them, im just guna find out tm how they look up on the max, i got a shitty bb camera, but since ive had the car i gotta start a build thread because lots of mods are going to start soon over winter to have my car ready to go by springs for meets and shows etc

i just wanna say something.... why brag about how much you can get the wheels for and say "Dam if you guys only knew what I could buy these for.. sigh" if you arent going to tell us.

no one is gonna be mad at you for being able to buy a set of nice wheels for $50.

Im riding 20" TSW Silverstones with an Eibach drop and I think the ride is fine. I would go for it because, like every one is else saying, you can sell them off pretty easily.

thanks for inputs, theres just things i like/dislike about them but im thinking ill just flip em, they retail for 1400ish or more so the resale is possible for a good price, i just really wanted to know if its worth going to 20s on the max compared to the stock 18s
