Default Creaking Noise

I just recently bought some new wheels for my car. Since i put them on i have had a few problems. 1. Now some time's when i take off or reverse i here like a grinding or whining noise but goes away after i speed up. When sitting at idle if your turn the steering wheel back an forth you here a creaking sound never did that before. 2. now i notice that the car when moving at slow speeds makes a creaking noise. Put stocks back on an problem still there.... Any ideas...

Yeah but just jacking your car up to change wheels. I don't know what it could be i really don't think it is the struts. I tried the old bouncing method. An she stops as soon as it springs back up no bounciness... Who knows if it gonna cost a mint im gonna trade. maybe for something a little newer with factory warranty.. I guess no one has any idea what this could be........

Creaking when turning the wheel could be ball joints, or upper strut mounts...

I'll find out monday. After i spend 99.00 dollars for the dealership to look at it.. I hope it's nothing to expensive. i really like the car adding the wheels really set it off... Even though they are only 18's... The grinding noise when going back or forwards is really getting on my nerves could struts or anything cause that... From what i can tell it is coming from the passenger front..

So i took my car to the wash today. An now i don't have any creaking sounds at all. Still get the whining every now an then when taking off slow or an reverse. Seem's to only do it in first gear... Now i am gonna have to wait for the sounds to come back if they do. Or i will get the usual could not reproduce customer's complaint.. The whining noise maybe my new clutch. Wierd it would start doing that after 700 miles but who know's i'll have that looked at someday. Got more important things to do at the moment then sit at the dealer all day....

You probably should have mentioned the new clutch in the first post. Did you have a shop install it? Unless you did it yourself, you will never know if it was done right or if the parts installed were in good condition and not defective.

It was installed at the dealership. I don't think it is the clutch though. Now the creaking popping noise is back with vengeance .. Who knows what it is. I guess i will take it in just to make sure it isn't anything that could cause damage to the car or myself well driving.... Sounds like something is wrong with the suspension somewhere.... I will let ya'll know when i get back tomorrow.

So the dealer couldn't find anything wrong. They here the noise but can't say for sure what it is. Only said that the tech said it could be my strut mount an bearings need to be replaced. But not 100% sure... Like im gonna spend the money if your not sure...

Strut mounts are about $25/side at AutoZone...

Ok. So i have an update. I just had all new struts an springs installed. i went with kyb an tiens. love it so far. I am really pissed right now. The main reason i did this was the dealer told me i needed new strute mounts bearings etc for the left side. So i decided just to do them all. Well guess what they were wrong. I still have the creaking sound. Seem's to only happen when i turn the wheel left. No sound turning right. An when i am driving slow if i pump the the break a little you can here it. what else could it be. Struts an mounts are ruled out now.

Well turned out to be the lower left control arm. The bushing in the very back is dry rotted. So i bought a new control arm that comes with all the bushings an ball joint. Since i couldn't find just that one part. Got it for 109.00 shipped from rock auto an nissan wanted almost 200 for the same thing Shame . Why i was at it i bought some new front sway bar bushing an new endlinks. If i still have a creak after this
