Default 17 Inch Tires Which Size Need Help..

i have some 17 inch pacer silhouette rims brand new. i put them on my factory tire but didnt like the look. took them off put the factory rims back on. i was wondering can i put a 17 inch low profile tire on them and put them back on my 05 max.i dont know what size to buy or what kinda look i will get. i paid $1000.00 for the rims.tried to sell them but no offers.so if anyone can give me some advice on what tire size i need.i will be greatful.thanks

You really can't get low profile and normal looking with 17's....it'll look weird, use'em for snow tires maybe 225/55r17 would be the normal SL size.

Don't the 6.5 SLs come with 17"? Nick, what size were your stockies?

I agree with all though, 17s are too small for the big wheel well we have. If you really like it, then go for it

Yea they come with 17"s but its not low profile tires lol.. they are like 235/55/17 i think

SL's come w 17s. But there is a huge hunk of rubber around it. Great for DC winters.

I once had some 18s w low pro...car looked like it was gliding lol.
