Default Which Wire Harness To Get To Replace The Bose?

Since I'm getting some money back from tax returns, I've decide to replace my problematic Bose head unit. I found a Jensen VM9424 on Amazon for a little under $400 (comes with built in Nav and iPod but no bluetooth). Just changing the head unit right now. I have the dash kit, and I think I'm going to get the antenna adapter.

My problem is choosing an adapter/wire harness. I found an PAC ROEMN adapter for premium stereos (Bose?). Is this my best bet?

Also, I love my steering wheel controls, whats a good adapter for those?

Thanks guys!

I cant help you with the Bose adaptor though. When I upgraded I got rid of all the Bose stuff. It just becomes to much of a hassel....

what you'll need is the faceplate din depending on what din your getting
your gonna need the non bose (04-06) if your 07 and up i have no clue...
instead of PAC Steering wheel controls get the Axxes ASWC you wouldn't need to install resistors...

anything else ask...

@officerfrasher

its a bose w/ nav.

@DViious

are you saying the one pac roemn won't work or the other adapter? this one looks like it has the same harness. i thought i saw somewhere that you needed something to integrate with the bose amp.

Thanks for the input! I was having the same problem deciding on which harness to use.

04 Maxima, Bose w/o Nav. Since I will be installing a Kenwood DD with sub/amp setup in the back, what happens with the existing Bose amp? And go with the regular Metra 70-7550 wire harness correct?

yea pretty straight forward! the tricky part is understanding which one is 16 pin, its the connection to the radio controls, and dont cut the last pin part where it says to ground it just tap it and ground it...well you gotta tap all of them but i made the mistake of cutting the one they said to ground lol, everything works fine though it was a breeze! if you have any trouble ill take a picture of mine and put it up for referance so you can follow through
