I decided that I wanted something that was a little different than everyone else...I went with ARC audio, and Morel Dotech Ovation comps in the front. It's all going to come down to "how much do you want to spend"?

Honestly you need to go to an audio store and listen to the display setups and listen for yourself. A good shop will give you some recommendations based on what kind of equipment you are hooking it up to. Some people base their preferences on budget and some people base it on what they like and some people just follow the crowd.

Cheeto is on to it. So much is personal preference. I think when you stay with the established brands you're always safe.(JL Audio, Rockford, Focal, Alpine) I went with some Focal 165v30's in the front and rear doors and removed my rear 6x9's at the advice of 1Hawaii50 and have never looked back. The removal of the 6x9's allows the sub to vent through the holes and keeps the soundstage in the front of the car...where you are. Just my 2 cents...I'm sure others will have their opinions. Have fun choosing your setup...that's the point!

These guys hit the nail on the head. Listen in an audio store, get a set of components up front, amplify them, maybe install the bass eliminators to keep the bass out of your speakers, and let your subs give you that. All about personal preference
