Default Subwoofer Replacement

I want to replace my stock bose 8's in the rear deck.
What kind of subs do i get,like what ohm.
Can i still use the stock amp and tap into it or buy an aftermarket amp

There are two really detailed threads on this. People will probably say you should have used search. Try searching for it in the stereo sub forum. There is great info in there. You will be better suited going aftermarket amp. Also find speakers to match the amps ohm rating and operate free air.

Don't use the stock amp, it won't get you much. You need a good aftermarket amp. I just upgraded my MTX amp which burned out to an Memphis amp.
