Default Strickly 2004 Without Navigation Aux Options

I've done a lot of research on different methods of getting auxiliary input between 6thgen's but still nothing's clear. I'm hoping this will be the question to answer all questions.

I have a 2004 Maxima SE without the Navigation Unit.

Cassette Adapters suck

FM Transmitters suck

Bluetooth etc. doesn't matter

Ideally I'd like to buy a car deck and a male to male cable but I don't know if this is possible.

What solutions do you guys have and know work? I'm looking to save as much money as possible while attaining the best quality possible.

Default Re: (STRICTLY 2004 w/o Navigation) Aux Options ?

I bought a JVC unit from sonic electronix for just over $100. It has two usb ports a auxiliary jack and supports bluetooth playback of music if you have a bluetooth phone

I have a Sony unit for sale that has USB Bluetooth and aux port. I could let it go cheap. It was perfect in the wife's car. Probably still have the adapter wires kit for the maxima too. Is yours Bose ?

Latinmax is offering you a good deal. I also added a JVC double din head unit. The bose and none bose wiring harness adaptors are different. I thought I had bose but I have the none-bose so I have an extra bose harness adaptor if you need it.

Sorry for the late response. I do have the bose unit. You said it worked perfect in your wife's car- was it an 04 Maxima as well? As long as things work out I'd love to take it off your hands.

I have an 04 Bose Non Navi. It worked well in mine and my wife's car which was an 03 Santa Fe. I upgraded to a double din unit. It was removed from her Sanata Fe about 3 months ago when we traded it in. Its in the closet right now but it did everything we needed it to. I did look to see if I have the Bose harness and I don't. But another poster said the did. Let us know
