why dont you just get a set of 6.5 highs and build a bracket so it can fit without falling in or wiggling around?, or add 2 6.5 highs on each side so you can have 4 6.5 speakers on your rear deck

i would go with 6.5 in your case, why? because 8 inch speakers are mostly for bass, not all..but most of them, you would have an easier time and much more guaranteed high's if you just threw 4 6.5 highs back there

Get a good set of component speakers for your front doors running to a good amp, get some rear door speakers for some fill in. Then a good woofer in the trunk, and take out the 8" speakers and use the holes as ports. That's all that is needed for good sounding system.
