Default No Sound

as the title states, replaced headunit w/ aftermarket. i have bose, and im not having any sound out of the speakers..i have a metra wiring kit. all wires are connected correctly, headunit powers up...just no sound. anyone ran across this situation?

whats this i found about adapter by scosche? is this really needed?

Did you wiring kit come with the rca wires or just speaker wire? You need the ones with rca I believe to make it work? At least that is what I was sent and it works fine.

Mines played really soft at full volume, I didnt buy the scosche brand but one like it and tada worked like I wanted it to, but the line converter adjustments were nearly maxed. Does yours have any sound at all?

no, no sound, il turn the radio up to 50 (the max) and nothing, not even a peep. lol. i know the headunit works cuz i took it outa my 97 that i sold to my lil brother...and she was in there ah-workin. so im puzzled...the 97 was non-bose, so the bose has to be the factor?? i.e the adapter?
