Default NIRD-01 Adapter Plug

First off, this is the most wiring I have EVER done on a HU. There is one plug on the NIRD-01 that will not sit properly no matter which way I try to put it in. WTF am I doing wrong.

Check to make sure none of the pins inside the plug are bent.

It was my fault. I was using the wrong plug altogether. The install continues.

Questions about the NIRD01:

1. Does the bluetooth show on the bose screens or on the new radio screen?
2. The nird01 shows distance to empty, average speed, fuel economy, trip time but does it show the warnings like the bose system did, such as oil change, maintance, possible ice, tripometer a & b?
3. What is trip time? Is that trip A when you reset and start your trip?

I am trying to collect as much information as I can because I am debating putting in a USB adapter or installing a whole HU and leaving the bose speakers. I know what parts I need but this NIRD01 was my big if!

Is there anything else??

Metra wasn't too helpful answering the questions. They aren't hard questions. Please help. Thank you.

1. Not sure where the NIRD shows the bluetooth, as I don't use that function. If you are using the bluetooth built into the Nissan system, I would think it would show on your driver's info screen. If you are using the bluetooth built into your head unit, then I would think it would show on your head unit.
2. I've got an 07, and my stock screen did NOT show maintenance/ice warnings. The only indicator I've ever seen it give is the "door open" indicator. As far as I remember, the Nird allows the driver info screen to display all info that the OEM head unit did as far as temp, time, etc...
3. Not sure what you mean by "trip" time. My Nird displays time that the car has been running (if this answers your question).
