Default Need Help Fast!

Hey guys so today I was installing a backup camera on my moms car. I over tightened the bracket too much and the right side of the bracket broke! It still stays on when bolted but everytime the trunk closes it moves a lot

Here's a picture of my idiot mistake

Click the image to open in full size.

Is there any type of glue/epoxy that will put this back together?!?! Someone PLEASE help me before my mom kills me

I would order a new bracket.

J B Weld is good.

Can you try to modify the bracket you broke so it would hold the camera in place? I don't know what broke, but could you improvise using a couple of washers?

Go with the JB Weld. It is an epoxy and will give you maximum durability.

Gorilla glue and Goop although very good, (I believe) is the wrong application for this type of repair. I doubt it will last as long as the JB Weld if you apply it properly.

Remember, you are trying to repair a broken bracket, not glue an emblem or fake port holes on to your fender.
