Default My Headunit Stopped Working

Okay so today I went to a shop to get my brand new 12 inch Alpine Type-R and brand new Alpine MRX M50 amp installed! I dropped my car off and the guy told me he would call m me back when I could pick my car up. I came back to the shop and he was testing and tunning everything making sure the job was complete and working right. It was finished and man was it bumbing!! I left the shop and on my way home I was having fun twp songs deep when all of the sudden the music stopped and my (stock)hu froze. I pulled into a quickek to restart my car. Nothing changed and I noticed that my amp was not getting power along with the stereo! What do I do?!?!? My radio, cd player, tape player, all dont wprk anymore. I am going back to the shop in the am to get it worked out

maybe the fuse blew out? or try unplugging the negative on your battery, wait about 5 minutes and put it back in, i dont the amp has anything to do with it though, is it aftermarket hu or stock?

He said stock so I believe it should hopefully just be a fuse issue. Good luck!

Don't worry your pretty little head.

The installation shop should be responsible for finding and repairing the problem.

If the fuse blew...something is wrong. I'd still take it back and have the shop check it out.

I agree, buying 20 fuses or however many is a band aid over the problem. It shouldn't do that so have it looked at before that turns into a bigger problem, in worst case scenario it can catch on fire.
