Default Metra Aftermarket Harness

TO PEOPLE ROCKING THE BOSE SPEAKERS WHO WANT TO GO AFTERMARKET HEAD UNIT!

Ok so recently ive installed a new double din into my car (Pioneer AVH-2300DVD) i used the Bose Metra Harness which looks like this:

Part #: 7551
Click the image to open in full size.

DO NOT BUY HARNESS ABOVE IF YOU HAVE BOSE AUDIO SYSTEM! Why i say that is because you will be spending more out your pocket than anything! you will need to buy a OEM intergration kit which you do not want to be spending some extra cash...

USE METRA HARNESS PART: 70-7550

Click the image to open in full size.

This will act like a factory output to your speakers bringing more clarity and louder sound to your audio system...i ended spending $$$ because of the fact the BOSE harness (7551) didnt bring the volume up to line level...

INSTALATION:
Simple as can be...match all colors together and MAKE SURE TO LOOK IN YOUR MANUAL! we are dealing with aftermarket head units so the colors might be a little off, if they do follow in the category for being off check the the back of the harness bag or the harness wire it should be labled where they will go to...

GROUNDING::
(04-06) In our cars there is no way of grounding wires makes a real pain...but its pretty simple where to ground, if you take out your radio and cage you will find on the bottom a L shaped piece of steal connecting to the drivers side and on the other end you will see a hole in the peice of steel you need to find a big enough bolt and nut and fit it in that space by doing so you will have a well grounded gound wire....

THIS THREAD WILL PREVENT YOU FOR WAISTING YOUR MONEY!

So the 7551 ended poorly for you? Thanks for the heads up.
