Default Has Anyone Tried Auto Up/Down Rear Window Switches ?

As title states had anyone tried taking the auto up/down switches for the front windows and put them for the rears ?

I'm curious as I want to pick up a set of auto switches for the front windows and put them in for the rears so this way I have auto for all four windows.

Also if it has been done do the plugs match up or is there anything else that needs to be done. From my understanding the auto feature on the switch is activated depending on how hard you press the button.

Thanks.

I can't really answer your question, but I do know Maximas with the Elite Package have the auto feature on the rear windows. You might look for switches that come from an Elite Package Maxima.

U can buy Elite rear window buttons n install them, giving the window the auto functionality. Wiring n plugs should b the same cuz the switch is what allows it to work that way. If anyone has a 04-06, ur car is pre-wired for the Elite package. I have all the parts jus missing the rear cushion. Thunderbolt, what color is ur interior?

There are four separate switches in the drivers door so yes you can replace just the drivers side.

Well im a little pissed because the guy *TRIED* to sell me no good switches, i went there with no driverside panel so i can test them. Good news is that they work just fine with the plug that is already for the rears on the driverside, however one of the switches he had wasnt working and the good one was all scratched up and had a chip on it so i didnt end up buying them. BUT like i said it will work as long as you can get a set of front auto u/d switches or maxima elite rear switches, w/e ill post up on progress though, theres another place im going to tomorrow
