hey guys... well as the title says, as soon as my head lights turns on my guage lights and my entire dashboard lights goes out. i've checked the fuse box and no fuse was blown out. this started after i put in a double din and changed my entire sound system. does anybody have a clue what it might be?

Its a blown fuse in the IPDM. Fuse #41. Or a fried dimmer switch. If the fuse is blown then its also going to take the parking lights out along with the dash lights.
It is located under the hood on the passenger side. Underneath the beauty cover by the windshield washer bottle.

Not to be funny but have you checked the dimmer switch ? The same thing happend to me when I took the car to get detailed and I went crazy thinking it was a blown fuse

The big three will not make your dash lights work. I may aid in your lights dimming if you install a big amp. If you have no blown fuses and your parking lights still work, is a sign that the fuse is not blown, then it has to be the dimmer switch.
