Default Door speakers too loud

Any ideas on why my door speakers are extremely loud after my stereo install?is it because the stereo amp and bose amp are both powering them? My subs sound good but gotta turn it to 25/35 to get them pounding hard but the door speakers are too loud by then

How did you hook it up to think the Bose amp and the internal amp are working at the same time?

No, the gain control is not a volume knob. It needs to be set according to the out put of the amp.

The nird has the speaker connections like white white/stripe and I just connected those to stereo, the bose amp has to be on if not the speakers will not work at all so what I think is the stereo is amplifying signal to bose which amplifies signal to door speakers

What a pain in the ass! I'm glad I'm dumped all that Blose crap, it's so hard to work with. I'm not familiar with the way you have it hooked up so I don't have much advice for you, sorry.

It is true the gain is not a volume knob but what if his head unit's preouts are only 1v or his RCA's are jacked it can all contribute. If your deck actually has a low preout voltage you just have to turn the gain higher it wont hurt your equipment. There is virtually no way your headunits amp and bose amp can be working together, my brother has the same setup as me and they both sound the same. He has an aftermarket doulble din I have a LOC. Both bose, if you have no speakers connected to the headunits output speaker cables they will not amplify the signal. If you can please post a picture of the amplifiers settings.

my headunit has preouts of 2v and I have my amp around there maybe just a bit less.
And the speakers are connected to the headunit.
Everything sounds good just speakers are louder than before with oem and loc.

make sure sub level is all the way up. From reading your previous post you cut the stock wiring harness? Rather than buying a harness or?
