I left the box back there behind the stereo and ran my keypad to the glove compartment. Some run it to the small compartment underneath

Honestly I don't really want to work on someone else's car cause I really don't want the liability if I mess up.

If you're good with wires, then you can DIY. Here's the installation manual: http://www.metraonline.com/files/pro...NSTNIRD-01.pdf

can best buy find a way around install a double din without the nird01 n still maintain the display??

also what happens to the display without the nird01 is it completely blacked out or does in light up orange without text?

IS IT EVEN WORTH IT to get an NIRD-01 because i did not have bluetooth in my 07 se . I am installing the PIONEER AVH2500BT .. it comes with its own bluetooth

I doubt they can but yet again idk. It will just be off completely it won't light up orange. Is worth it if mpg miles left on tank and such things are worth it to you. I got it mainly for the customizable option and didn't want a blank screen there.

They find every reason to avoid honoring their warranty and they take shortcuts sometimes knowing you won't notice it
