Default Wondering If Maxima Suspension Parts Will Fit An Altima?

I've noticed that my wife's 07 Altima is sagging in the rear end something awful. I've also been reading of the massive failures of the rear sway bars on the 07 Altimas. My question is will my OEM rear sway bar, and rear coil springs fit her Altima? I just have them sitting around anyway.

Is her altima the 3.5? I believe both may fit but I think the 3.5 sway is the same as the maxima's. The 2.5 is smaller if I remember correctly. Have you compred them under the car yet?

Hmm I know the 2002-2006 Altimas share the same suspension.

the 07 is the new body right ?

I want to say that the struts and springs may be the same, not sure about the sway bar only because the 07 and newer bodys seem a little wider..

Sorry guys...she has the 2.5 Altima. The body style is very similar to the 06...only subtle changes. I'm tired of it looking like she's hauling a dead horse around in the trunk. I haven't spent hardly any time on the Altima forums since I got the Maxima. Imagine my surprise when I was checking into replacing the springs and found so many threads about broken rear sway bars....

Worst case, I'll get a racingline rear sway bar. I'm thinking of replacing her springs with the Maxima springs and see if that gets the rear end off the ground at all. I haven't physically gotten under the car yet to see if the sway bars are similar or not.

Alan, for whatever reason, Nissanclub is not opening for me...I get the page header, but it's just a blank page...no idea what's going on there.

OK...the rear springs are a DIRECT fit...they are the same height as the Altima springs, and appear to be the same windings. I swapped them out this afternoon and it brought the rear of the car up about 1.5". Now it sits where it should! I still have to check into the rear sway bar.
