Default What Kind of Brake Fluid Do You Use?

I will be upgrading my brakes this weekend and with that I will bleed my fluid and replace it.

Doing new rotors all around and upgrading the front to Wilwood Superlite 4 piston calipers and stainless steel lines.

Was just wondering if anyone thought the brand of fluid mattered at all? They all seem to be relatively inexpensive so I'm not sure it matters much.

Any input from those who are familiar is appreciated.

When I installed my Wilwoods and SS lines, I replaced mine with Dot4 synthetic. Dot3 brake fluid is considered to have the standard measurements required to take care of the normal braking system in a car. They have the capacity to handle heat up to certain stent due to its chemical components. Dot4 brake fluid works in the same manner as the dot3 fluid, however, it is a better fluid because it is capable of handling problems related to manufacture or improper usage of other brake fluids, thus becoming a more reliable component. I've also replaced my clutch fluid from DOT3 to DOT 4 and my clutch feels better, specially in the hot months.

Motul is a good brand of fluid if that helps at all. RBF600 I think is what it's called it's a solid brake fluid.

Also want to ask, as of now Ive got whatever OEM is, which i assume is Dot 3.

Id like to change to Dot 4 but was curious if its bad for the system to have dot 3 and 4 mixed a little?

Im assuming its rather difficult to ensure every drop of Dot 3 is out. Maybe not though?
