Tein FTW...don't have the car anymore, but I had the Tein Basics, and they were fantastic. Rode excellent, and only go for around $900....if you have the cash the Tein SS are sick, for about $1400, but if it was me, I would do the basics and spend that other $500 on a rear sway bar, front strut bar, and KC Maxx rear strut brace...if you don't have them that is...and you will still have money leftover.

I have never had ksport, I know Steve (I3lazen) is happy with his. I just loved my Tein, and thr brand is a much more popular brand for a reason. You can get the Progress rear sway bar on eBay, and the KC Maxx rear strut brace is for sale right on this site, just send a PM to KC Maxx or visit out group deals section, i would link you but im replying on my phone lol

I know from experience that Ksports blew out few times and needed to be replaced/fixed by ksport. I've never heard of tein having any issue... none that were reported on any org i've ever been on.

I've been using tein basics for a while and have absolutely no negative things to say about them. There are pros and cons of having tein SS vs. Basics.

Tein SS -

Pros:
  • Adjustable damper (stiffness level)
  • Adjustable Height

Cons:
  • A PITA to adjust rear shocks due to them not being accessible that easily. Meaning that more work in involved when you need to adjust rear damper.

Tein Basics -

Pros:
  • Same durability level as SS
  • Adjustable height

Cons:
  • Non-adjustable damper.

That is correct, sir. There is a device that you can buy to control the damper for the Tein SS electronically, but it costs about $300 or so. I'm not sure if your budget can invest in that, but if it's doable, it'll save you a lot of time and labor when adjusting all 4 sides.
