Eddie,
There could be several reasons you are experiencing vibration. The vibration in your steering wheel while braking is probably related to your rotors.

The vibration at sixty miles per hour is probably related to your tires and alignment. Of course there could be other issues with the front end.

The first thing you should do is have your brakes, alignment and front end inspected. Make sure tires are properly inflated and balanced and are not worn or out of round. You may need new brakes and tires.

Bad tires can seriously effect the smoothness of your ride in a negative manner. Warped rotors also cause havoc with your ride.

Get these things fixed and you should be riding smooth once again.

Good luck.

As Michael stated, I would check:
Tires (start with a "road force" balance)
Rotors
CV Axles

If those all check fine, let us know...

Depends if you want to maintain OEM ride quality, or if you want something more "sporting". Monroe or Gabriel shocks/struts with OEM springs will give OE ride quality. KYB are a little more firm. Any lowering springs will make the ride more harsh.
