Default Thump Thump Thump After Brake Job

I took my rotors off this morning and had them turned. I decided to replace my pads while I had all that off. I finished the job and went out for a test drive. I'm getting a faint thump thump thump from the passenger side during braking. The frequency seems to be speed sensitive: high speed - frequency of thumps is fast; low speed - frequency of thumps is slow. Any ideas?

That happened to my mom when her rotors were warped, but I doubt that's your problem, just throwing that out there though

Maybe you should just replace the rotors and it'll fix the problem, my moms car we tried everything and still had that thumping, new rotors fixed the issue

Braking from 120 to 0 should not warp rotors. Doing it over and over again without cooldown period will.

Seized calipers(either due to pins or seized pIstons) warp rotors. USUALLY its not caused by braking on a street driven vehicle.

When you removed the calipers to paint them what was the condition of the caliber pins? Were they lubed? Also how were the little rubber caliper pin bushings? Were they swollen forcing you to ram the pins in there hard?

I would visually inspect everything and lift up the wheels and place the Max in neutral Park brake applied and spin each wheel. If they spin, caliper are not seized. Another thing is how hard was it to place you brake pads in? They need to move freely within the caliper bracket. If you have to force a brake pad in it will come back at you as the symptom tour having also.
Basically everything should be lubed and moving freely without binding.

While both front wheels still off the ground,
check for loose suspension components.
Grasp the tire at 9-3 o'clock and make rapid tire movements side to side. If no play is found at 9-3, grab the tire at 6-12 o'clock and check for ball joint play. if you have a long prybar try to place it between the lower control arm and spindle( a more precise way to check ball joints)

Loose Ball joints and tie rod ends will mimic a warped rotor when brakes are applied, so I would check your suspension as the culprit might be partly there also.
