Default Suspension Upgrade 04 maxima

just wanted it know if I want to upgrade the shocks to kyb gr2s do i need to get in addition to 4 shocks, struts and mounting hardware? do 04s have struts, is it must to get new ones when changing shocks?

Our cars use both struts and shocks bro, shocks in the rear and struts in the front, and im pretty sure you can use the stock mounting hardware, well atleast my mechanic did, maybe

I would get the 2 struts, 2 shocks, and I would also replace the front upper strut mounts while you are in there. You also may need to replace the front and/or rear endlinks if you damage them changing the shocks/struts.
