Default Suspension Problems

Whats up my 6thgen homies,

My 2004 nissan maxima is in the shop atm and my mech. is charging me 600$ to replace and install both front end lower control arms & ball joints & sway bars, is this a good price or should look somewhere else for a cheapier price?

sounds like a rip to me. Are you buying the parts from him to. If you are going with the oem one i guess that would be about right. They are like 200 a piece something like that.

Not a bad price. I paid 160 a piece from Rock Auto and installed them myself.

If it's parts and labor, then it's a fair price for all that work. To do the front sway bar, he'll need to drop the subframe. You can try to do some of that work yourself to save money, and have him do the difficult parts.
