Default Springs/Shocks-Struts Install Quote

What's up boys and girls .. Just wanted to get some feedback one a quote I just received from a local "Tuning" shop here in Massachusetts .. I've dealt with these guys prior when I had my bimmer, great rep, and service .. I've narrowed down my first few mods to progress springs, and a set of KYBs with RSB .. He recommended to not even get new shock/struts since my car only has 60k on it, and that I still have some life on them (2008 SE) ..He also suggested the Eibach springs, and that the labor is $100 per corner, then the alignment .. Total package is $675.00 taxes included, so that includes springs, and labor .. What's the overall opinion of this quote? Im a frugal dude ..lol .. Also if there are any suggestions in the NYC area, bring em .. I go all the time to NY .. thanks ..

Way too expensive and I would go somewhere else if they suggested that you don't replace the shocks. Yes you might only have 60K but when you lower the car, that will wear out those shocks a lot faster and you will probably have to go back to them and then charge you 675 more just to take everything off and replace the shocks in 4 to 6 months on top of buying new shocks. That's the reason I suggest people to replace it all at once. Saves time and money. That's just me though.

No good for the struts and eibach price is about $ 500, if the struts was included would b A good price..Normally to install springs are $80 -150 for all 4

It's 15-20 minutes worth of work for the back, maybe 1 hour for the front with the right tools, start to end. Yes, that's too high.

Yup , that's it. You also have the option to go with a softer spring from Monroe but I wouldn't. Soft shocks will ride better but it will wear out faster too, besides KYB GR2 is not bad at all.

I can install new struts/springs/shocks and strut mounts for $100 labor. I'm in Ohio.

OEM shocks/struts are only rated for 50k-60k miles. I wouldn't let that shop change the air in my tires.
