Default Raising The Rear End For Better Leveling

Just saw this on the big org. It was posted while back. Do you guys think its a good idea to do this if you are dropped on teins or progress springs and you just want to rise the back little?

Just use the stock rear spring there's not that much of a difference in drop in the rear with aftermarket and stock

Yeah, that didn't look too secure, I wouldn't trust it one bit. I'd say go with a stock rear spring.

Spring rates would be different and will make the car ride funny with two stock and two lowering springs.

This is why im going with tein coilovers. That way i can lift and lower ride heights without mis matching springs/spring rates or installing rubber spacers that could easily fall off no matter how many tie straps are put on. Lets leave spacers to the wheels and engine only...

I don't like how much my back end is lowered either. I'm thinking about putting the stock springs back in...

Except for me. I didn't notice anything different. It drove perfectly. I had the front lowered on D2 springs with the back on OEM springs.

Got an offer on buying just the Front tein s-techs, didn't take it. In my opinion theres not a big difference b/e stock vs tein rear springs, but the ride should be proportional. They were on my friends car, and it did ride funny honestly,it was an 08..Agree with RAZ76 deff funny ride. front plus rear only recommended

I got stock springs and shocks with the mr.gasket spring spacers on the back springs. I havent noticed any change in handeling. I removed the oem rubber piece that sits under the back springs and i tied the spacers to the springs with big zip ties from autozone. Ive had them on for a couple of months. I really like the way the car looks and feels now when i drive. I didnt want to lower it....nothing against it just not for me. Will post pics later when i get home.

Lowered on Teins in the front. Stock springs in the back. Rides perfectly fine, I was satisfied. The rear Teins are still in the plastic lol.
