Default Protecting Coilover's

So I checked the sticky and saw that we can wrap them but then I noticed Raz say we can plasti-dip them and it would protect them from debris and road salt.

Since I couldn't post in the thread because it was to old I'm wondering if that is true. Seem's to be easier then making the cover.

Also any other advice before I put the coilovers on? I plan on riding with them even during winter.

Thanks in advance.
