Default Proper Coilovers

Are the rear spring n shock on adjustable Coilovers supposed be together as one? I had the impression they were supposed to be separate as is the stock setup.

Guess I should clarify lol.. as far as the 6th gen Max goes.. rear spring n shock are separate from each other, yet the coilovers i purchased come together as one .. im thinking i received the wrong product.. or will they fit as is?
