If your getting them new, or getting a good deal on them, you might want to save a little extra and get the JICs. I hear those are better.

I'll be buying them new unless someone has a good set up for sale. I think this is the longest I owed a car without lowing it already.

Get BCs, D2s are entry level coils. There are not so comfy but they do go low. I've had D2s, JICs, and BCs, and I'll recommend the BCs to anyone.

I just got a D2 put in my car. I thought it ride quite nice. My girlfriend can vouch on that and I live in cedar rapids, IA that notorious for fucked up road.. I cant afford the best of the best because I rather put the money on to my payment.

The lowest you can go without axles headaches is lowering springs or Tein coilovers, which don't slam the car. If you want to slam it, get BCs but you need to be ready for frequent axle changes

How frequent is frequent? Just curious? Obviously a daily driver would be more prone than a car that is lets say, driven just in the summer. I'm sure many factors come into play, how low you go, road condition, driving type, etc...., but since you know much more than I, if you were to put coilovers and drop it to right around where hero's car is on the banner up top, or just a tad higher, on a car thats driven at most five months a year, can you say how long it would last before an axle would need to be replaced. Guesstimate?

I put BCs on my 7th gen last year and for a year I replaced both sides axles twice already lol. That's for a daily driver, going through some rough roads sometimes. Luckily, I'm under warranty, so didn't really pay out of pocket, but realistically, it would've been $150-175 each side each time.

Damn, lol. Your shit looks really low thought. As much as id want to, id never be able to go that low. My roads around here are atrocious. Good thing you were still under warranty. Haha. Thanks for your input. As much as i drive it, I think id be safe without having to constantly repair things.
