Default Are My 04 SE Shocks and Struts Bad?

Hey guys I need a little help I red that the suspension on this model is stiff but what is "stiff?" I still have warranty on my car and was wondering if i could swap it out at the stealership?

My experience driving is that i can feel EVERYTHING on the road, little bumps and rocks. It feels like it is going to pop right up through the fenders. Is it suppose to be like that, and you can also hear it when hitting a bump and i sometime clinch my teeth everytime, and Am i stuck with it? and have to pay out of pocket for a softer ride?

Thanks!!

you could always have them take a look at it since it is still under warranty, but expect to pay the $90 diagnosis fee.

I gotta question too, how about when you get out of the car and hear a squeek in the suspension like the weight gets off the car, whats the issue behind that?

I have that squeek too, and it's coming from the rear suspension. I think it's a bushing that needs some DW-40. I think that usually happens when you are lowered.

Dietary issues...

All kidding aside, how many miles do you have on your struts/shocks?

Take it to the dealership and tell them the suspension is shot and that you want it replaced under warranty.

If they shoot you down you can pick up some kybs for cheap and DIY.

I'm at 65k now, I bought the car at 59k sooo, I mean its nothing major but it's just when you get out of the car you do hear the weight squeak off, didn't think that's usual.

It could very well be the control arm bushings.

Kyb gr2 shocks are best. They are a couple hundred dollars online. Rent a spring compressor from auto zone and install yourself, its free.
